CMHA
Mental Health Week
May 4-10, 2020
May 6-12, 2019 was Mental Health Week, and Canadians plugged in their mental health microphones and got loud about what mental health really is. Mental health: everyone has it! The next Mental Health Week is May 4-10, 2020.
Until then, stay loud.
Highlights from Mental Health Week 2019:
The Prime Minister released a Mental Health Week statement with a nod to CMHA.
The message boomed on social media, with the hashtags
#MentalHealthWeek and #GetLoud trending in the top spots, Canada-wide.
The Mental Health Week
Toolkit was more popular than ever,
and our new
School Toolkit brought Mental Health Week
to life in classrooms across the country.
CMHA released a significant policy paper on promoting mental health
so that we can get out in front of mental illness.
This work will help us get loud all year long.
